The group course for Dutch NT2 from A0 to A1 consists of 3 parts:

Groepstraining in een virtual classroom met een vaste trainer

15 weekly group sessions of 2 hours in a virtual classroom, with the same trainer

Self-study

Weekly self-study assignments that will also take you about 2 hours per week to do

De Taaltrainer Online Leren

Access to our online e-learning platform for an entire year! 

Entry level

A1: you can already participate in simple conversations that occur in common everyday life and work situations.

Before starting, we have an intake chat with you by phone, so we can be sure the group you have signed up for is suitable for you.

To participate successfully, it is important to take note of the following:

• The course takes place in a virtual classroom and we also use our online learning platform. It is therefore important that you are digitally proficient and that you have an e-mail address to which we can send all information and login details.
• A laptop or pc with camera and headset (or quiet room) are advised, as phones and tablets have proven unsuitable for use during the sessions.
• In the first few lessons, the trainer provides explanations or instructions in English where necessary. A basic knowledge (A2/B1) of English is desired

Proof of participation

You will receive proof of your participation stating the CEFR level, from De Taaltrainer, if you have actively attended at least 12 of the 15 lessons, and if you have completed the weekly assignments.

Study load

60 hours: 30 training hours and 30 hours of additional self-study between class days.

Group size

Minimum 4, maximum 8.

Registration

On receipt of your registration, we will contact you within 1 business day. Registration closes one week before the start date. By that date at the latest, we can definitively confirm your participation (if we have the minimum number of participants).

Prices

€ 995,- per participant, 21 % vat excluded.

Includes intake, (online) study materials, 1 year access to De Taaltrainer Online Learning platform, and a certificate of attendance.

Discount

When registering more than 1 participant from the same company, the 2nd or subsequent participant will receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.

In-company training courses

This course is also available as a tailor-made in-company training course. We are happy to provide a no-obligation quote.

Billing and payment

Invoicing and payment must be completed before the first day of classes.

Cancellation

After receiving your final registration (following the intake), an amount of €150 excluding VAT will be due. For the remaining amount (€ 845,- excl. vat), the following applies:

• You can cancel your participation, free of charge, up to 4 weeks before the first day of class;
• If cancelled between 4 and 2 weeks before the first day of class, we will charge 50% of the participation fee;
• If cancelled less than 2 weeks before the first lesson day, we will charge 75% of the participation fee;
• No refunds are possible from the first day of class onwards.
